I’ve been fighting quite a gaming malaise. The last time I suffered from this, some time ago, the game that shook me out of it was Heavy Rain. This is perhaps no coincidental, as this game, Until Dawn, is brought to us by the same folks, or so I’m told Supermassive Games nos ha sorprendido con una propuesta realmente interesante para PlayStation 4, Until Dawn. Si hacemos un poco de el título continúa la propuesta tanto de Heavy Rain como de Beyond: Dos Almas. Es lo que muchos jugadores llaman At first blush, Until Dawn looks like a generic horror game, full of tropes stolen from years of slasher films and mechanics borrowed from the likes of Quantic Dream's Heavy Rain. That first impression isn't entirely wrong, either. But there's a depth For gamers, it began with the arrival of Until Dawn, Supermassive Games’ PS4-exclusive themed “interactive movie” and Indigo Prophecy spiritual successor Heavy Rain. Both games feature branching storylines that are affected by the player I will be honest – I didn’t have a lot of expectations from Supermassive’s Until Dawn, both in the visuals department the horror title was first introduced as a mix of PS Move functionality and Heavy Rain-style QTE reaction-play. When I first heard about Until Dawn for PS4, I drooled. A horror themed game influenced heavily by 80’s slasher movies. Yes please, sign me up. The gameplay was said to be very Heavy Rain-esque with choices you make during intense moments having impact .
This is confounded by the fact that no matter how well a game like Heavy Rain is remembered in retrospect don’t immediately assume I’m brainlessly pandering when I say that I loved Until Dawn. It is not a hard standpoint to back up if i delve Pero amigos, algo ha cambiado jugando al título con el que probablemente menos me lo esperaba: Until Dawn. There's a specific moment in Until Dawn that involves a character's disemboweling that Japanese gamers won't see much of, as well as an instance where someone has to make the decision a la Heavy Rain to sever some fingers from their hand using a machete. .
